  • SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY: The Leo H. Grether Memorial Scholarship in Choral Music applications are now available in the Guidance Lobby. Applicants must be planning to choose choral music education as a career. This scholarship is for $2500. Deadline to apply is April 15th

     

  • SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY: Unity Point Health Scholar Athlete of the Year honors Iowa high schools' top male and top female seniors who demonstrate excellence in academics, sports and their Iowa communities. Scholarship winners receive $500 per year, up to 4 consecutive years to assist with post-secondary education. For more details go to UnityPointScholarAthletes.com. Student applications must be submitted to the principal by May 15th.

     

  • ATTENTION JUNIORS: Herbert Hoover Uncommon Student Award is a program designed to attract students who are motivated and community minded. The award identifies approximately 15 Iowa high school juniors who propose and then accomplish projects of their own design. Hoover Uncommon Student finalists receive $1000 after completing their projects and presenting their accomplishments to a selection committee. In addition, 3 are chosen to receive $5000 awards to be used at a trade school, college or university of their choice. Deadline to apply is March 31st.
