I am from Cedar Rapids, Iowa where I continue to reside with my fiancé, Lindsay, and my Labrador Retriever, Denali. After graduating from Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids, I attended Iowa State University where I graduated cum laude with a B.A. in English. Having been raised on a tree farm, I have always enjoyed being in the woods and am most at home when hiking, hunting, or fishing. I love anything to do with the outdoors (and the English language!) and as a result have a soft place in my heart for authors like Whitman, Hemingway, London, and Thoreau. I hope I can inspire a love for reading in all of my students! |
