Three Athletes to Pursue College Athletics
Three Belle Plaine High School student-athletes recently signed letters of intent or committed to competing in athletics at the college or university level starting next fall. These three have combined to earn 30 varsity letters and five conference or district titles over the past four years. In the classroom they compiled a combined GPA of 3.573. Congratulations to the three of them and the Belle Plaine Community School District thanks them for all of their hard work and wish them the best as they move on!
Luke DeMeulenaere
Luke DeMeulenaere has participated in football, basketball and track while in high school and has committed to continue his education and play football at Central College next fall.
Nicholaa Phillippe
Nicholaa Phillippe has participated in volleyball and track while in high school and has signed her letter of intent to continue her education and play volleyball at William Penn University next fall.
Jackson Tegeler
Jackson Tegeler has participated in football, cross country, basketball, track and baseball while in high school and has signed his letter of intent to continue his education and play basketball at Mount Mercy University next fall.
