Bio:
I was born in what is now called Thunder Bay (originally Fort William), Ontario, Canada. I was educated there at Confederation College with an engineering degree and worked for a consulting firm for six years. Lakehead University made me an offer I couldn't refuse and I returned there to major in mathematics, and then followed that up with a degree in education. After that, I received my certification to teach high school calculus from the University of Toronto. I also have a masters degree from the University of St. Thomas in education. I have a daughter and a son and, nowadays, enjoy spending as much time as possible with them as adults. My summers are spent keeping up with current tech, reading, riding my bicycle, and playing a little disc golf!
