Launch the media gallery 1 playerErin O’Connell, a math teacher at Belle Plaine Jr/Sr High School started working for our school last year, replacing Mr. Wonderly. She is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and had gone to school there her entire life. She has two sisters and a pet cat.
While she was in high school she participated in drama and year book. Ever since she was a little girl she wanted to be a teacher, but once she got into high school she knew her forever job would be a math teacher. She moved to Belle Plaine to get back into teaching after taking a couple years off, she wanted to stay close to family but still teach at a small community.
Her favorite memory of a teacher would be that she is still in contact with past students, along with all the connections she has made. The 2021-2022 school year is going to be Erin’s 23rd year of teaching. She is most looking forward to keeping on top of things and making her classes run smoother.
