Belle Plaine finished the game 5/8 on passing for a total of 84 yards. Ben DeMeulenaere and Cejay Mumby were the two passers who combined for 84 yards in passing. However Belle Plaine’s outstanding defensive performance was the game changer. The defense had a total of 34 tackles, 6 sacks, and 3 fumble recoveries. This combined effort is what kept Wayne from scoring. This combined effort from the offense and defense is what the Plainsmen look to keep going through the rest of the season.
