Red Ribbon Week Award Winners

The Belle Plaine Jr./Sr High School participated in a week of dressed days and fun activities for Red Ribbon Week. Thursday afternoon we had a duck hunt around the school. There was also a poker run throughout the week. The Students participated in a puddling walk and duck pond drawing for points for their teams. The overall winner is team Pearson with 213 points, followed by team Stull with 207 points, and team Maxwell with 201 points. Mrs. Stull’s team had the best poker hand for the 25 bonus points. The winner of the first dress-up day which was Rock & Roll was EJ Reinhardt. Tuesday was a neon day with the winner being Josie Wandling. Wednesday was PJ day, the winner being Colton Mumby. Thursday was “grow old with drugs” for senior citizen day, the winner being Ava Parizek. The winners of the Thursday afternoon duck hunt were Colton Balvin, who won two tickets to The Degranged Haunted Attraction, and Nolan Oliver who won a Plainsmen beanie hat.
